8:30am – 4:15pm | Join us for the Friday CLE programming, which will include topics on the forefront of construction law. As always, we will have an update on Tennessee legislation affecting the construction industry. Ron Robey and Elysha Luken from the Atlanta firm Smith Currie & Hancock will present on issues of unintended design liability by contractors. Kristen Walker from Greyling Insurance Brokerage will address insurance contract provisions for construction projects, from the vantage point of the different industry participants. Our own Wearen Hughes and John Dawson will discuss the state of the economic loss doctrine of Tennessee, and Tim Gibbons will present a dual ethics hour on real-time alternate dispute resolution in distressed projects. The program is expected to apply for at least 5.0 hours of CLE credit (included therein a 1 hour of dual credit). |
