New Organization of Construction Lawyers Created
A new not-for-profit corporation has been formed to serve the needs
of Tennessee attorneys with practices related to the construction
industry. The Tennessee Association of Construction Counsel, Inc. (TACC)
was formed late last year by a group of attorneys from across the
State who want to advance the exchange of practice knowledge and
communications between construction lawyers.
Nashville attorney David N. Garst is serving as the association’s
president. “There are many construction industry organizations in
Tennessee, but none of them is dedicated to the lawyers serving the
industry,†said Garst. “The Tennessee Association of Construction

together to network, to provide advanced continuing legal education
opportunities, and to provide a forum to share practice knowledge
